So if anyone has any suggestions on how I could get Ableton to work, or knows of something else I can use to get that full sound, let me know. So my problem is that I have tried to get ableton to recognize Maschine, but unfortunately Live Lite has no folder, at least none that I can find that stores all of its files. However, I would like to have enough knowledge to produce tracks that have a nice full and rich sound. I really wish Maschine didn't soften its volume, kind of annoys me, but I'm not an expert when it comes to the proper way to record audio for music production. It works, but still not getting a full sound. For Windows users, please access this through the Options drop-down menu, selecting Preferences. Go to the Preferences > Link/MIDI tab: this differs between Windows and Mac. I normally just use my mixers, plugged into the headphone jack of my computer, and rerouted into traktor. Open the Ableton Live Lite software (bundled with your Launchpad Mini MK3) or any other licensed copy of Ableton 11. Honestly, I just need a new internal mixer to record my songs with a fuller sound that when I look at the audio wavelength it look more like a good chunk then sharp spikes. I was excited not because "oh its Ableton, I'll use their synths now". So I assume most of you know that Ableton tossed out this Live Lite a while back for free.
